Her Name Means Beauty

I've decided to try my hand at watercolours 'cause I used to love working with them in high school and I really love the simplicity of it. Naturally, my first choice of a painting came to that of my favourite story of all time, Beauty and the Beast.

I decided to keep the Beast's presence ambiguous with his shadow in the background, but I think it's easy to tell that inspiration for him came from that of the Disney film and the Faun from Pan's Labyrinth, mainly because I'm excited as hell about the fact that Guillermo del Toro is in talks to make Beauty and the Beast.
