Isn't It Funny?

This was actually painted on my Birthday (thank you for the wishes, by the way, guys! ), but I didn't have the time to scan or post it because I was too busy packing for my trip to England, which I just came back from and was absolutely lovely.

This was inspired by the very last shot of the very last episode of one of my absolute favourite comedies, the very surreal hospital comedy Green Wing, and if you haven't seen that show you are missing out!

I went for it because I felt the same way that Caroline did in the show did while I was drawing it: going through a lot of grief, confusion and stress due to certain circumstances which I will not get into details with, but in the end things seem to turn out all right in the ways you least expect.

Isn't it funny how things turn out?
